Who Am I? And What Is This Place?

I'm a 30-something male IT guy from sunny Singapore of Chinese ethnicity (my ancestors came from Teocheow province, btw). I'm married (sorry ladies!), no kids (yet), Christian (yeah, that means Bible-thumping Jesus freak for you atheists) and... well, I'll let you discover me as we go along.

You might have gathered that I have a certain taste for fantasy (yes, yes, I think Ladyhawke was a great movie). Well, this Lord has had his very own Lady of the Realm for the past 4 years now and she is the first in his life ('cept the LORD above, of course).

I'm starting this as a little collection of my thoughts, rants and raves. I first came across blogs while surfing blogs during Iraq War II like Instapundit and Command Post. Better, faster news than the liberal media. And definitely more cutting-edge political opinion.

I like food, but can never seem to find a good place for food reviews of Singapore eateries ('cept Makansutra, which is increasingly commercial) that is up-to-date and reliable (and has an archive I can reference).

Well, let's see where this goes, ok?
